Lately, I've been working with some new mediums, namely ZModeler2 (3D modelling program specially for games) and GameMaker: Studio. Feels good to be doing something new/different, from drawing all the time. :P

My first 3D Model, a low-poly (on purpose) model of a flying car design of mine. With a lot of inspiration from my own interpretation of the GTA2 Z-Type. The mesh is probably a mess, but I guess it's not too bad for my first try. If you're wondering why it's missing one half, that's because when I'm done, I will copy/mirror the other half. c:

And here is my first GameMaker project. All graphics are temporary placeholders while I still code the game (that red dot is the player character XD). It's supposed to be a "Bound" game, from the StarCraft custom maps. Basically you have to get through a series of obstacles that usually consist of explosions in a pattern (the cyan squares here). Aside from the difficulty of the obstacles themselves, most of the challenge comes from the fact that there is a delay between the time you click to move and your character executing the order. In other words, it's a timing game. :D

I'll probably give music a go as well, some time soon, with a program made for 16-bit MIDI. Though I will mostly be doing 16-bit remakes than original compositions at first, before I dare try to come up with my own music... oh dear.
